Camp FAQs

If I sign up for ALL SUMMER, how often am I expected to attend?

You have full access to the 300+ hours of programming for the whole summer, with training options every day. This tier is popular because of its ultimate flexibility. We have U.S. #1s training six days a week as well as aspirational players who may be coming three days, sometimes full days and sometime half days. You can custom design your own squash training summer. This equates to less than $30 per day of camp, offering a 50% discount for buying in bulk. The discounted pricing is set for full flexibility and freedom and to encourage players to treat the program as their squash training home when they are not traveling or on vacation.

If I sign up for an ENTIRE MONTH of camp, how often should I attend?

Monthly camp membership is based upon a minimum expectation of three days a week. You have unlimited access to programming seven days a week. All registrations may be made online and please be sure to email us at info@s2squash.com and we will email you information sheets, camp waivers, and answer any questions you may have to guarantee the best experience possible for your child.

Why is camp scheduled for Saturday and Sunday?

Weekends are generally considered “make up days”. Saturday will be focused on a recap of Monday and Tuesday. Similarly, Sunday will be a recap of Wednesday and Thursday. Weekends are a tremendous bonus, but you will not miss any of the curriculum by not attending weekends, and everything you need for summer will be covered in our Monday through Friday squads.

Can I take a lesson in addition to camp?

We advise all campers to take one weekly private lesson to augment their overall understanding and development. We would recommend these lessons prior (pre 10:00 am) or post (after 3:00 pm). Generally, we recommend that lunchtime is an appropriate occasion to rest, recover, and enjoy some social time. Email info@s2squash.com to reserve your lesson slot.

How many children attend camp and what’s it like?

Over the past eight years, our camps have averaged 30 kids per day. We have a 1:5 coach/player ratio and have been regarded as the most enjoyable squash camp in the area since 2011! Lunchtime fun games, electronic and board, team games, table tennis tournaments, squoccor and walleyball!

Will the kids get enough match play in summer?

Every Friday we run our renowned CAMP TOURNAMENT from 10:00 -12:00. The tournament incorporates all learning from the week and gives campers the opportunity to put it all together in a format replicable to U.S. Squash Events. Our squash professionals participate in our camp tournament every week and are also available every day for play-the-pro lessons. Email us at info@s2squash.com to schedule your match play lessons.
